IConfigurationRoot.AddDefaults Method
Adds the conventional sources of an application: its JSON file, then its environment variables.
Remarks
The file is the one named by the environment variable <APP>_CONFIG, which must exist; when that variable is not set, <app>.json beside the executable, which may be absent. The environment variables are those prefixed with <APP>_. See TConfiguration.DefaultFileName.
