Indicates whether the client whose request is being handled on the calling thread declared support for an extension. Use it to offer extension behavior only to clients that understand it.

Remarks

Always returns False outside a request and on transports without sessions, because there is no client to test against.

True when the current client declared the extension.

Indicates whether the client of a specific session declared support for an extension, regardless of which request is being handled.

Returns

True when that client declared the extension; False when either argument is empty or the session is unknown.
