TTMSFNCDataGridCellItem.Invalid Property
When True, DisplayValue is out of date and is regenerated from Value the next time the grid reads the cell.

Remarks
A new item starts invalid, and setting Value or calling Clear sets the flag again. When the grid fetches the cell (outside of loading), it resets the flag and rebuilds the display text using the column formatting and the display-value events.
