TTMSFNCDataGridDatabaseAdapterDataLink Class
Data link that keeps the grid synchronized with the bound
TDataSource. Forwards dataset active-state, layout, data-set, scroll, and record-change notifications to the owning adapter.

Remarks
The adapter creates and owns one instance; access it through TTMSFNCCustomDataGridDatabaseAdapter.DataLink and never free it yourself. The link is created as a visual-control link, so DataSet.DisableControls suspends its notifications.
When the linked dataset becomes active, a unidirectional dataset is rejected with an EDatabaseError, because the grid needs to scroll backwards through the records.
